Nvidia driver update before Battlefield 3?

some people i know whove gotten it can install it on origin but it checks the release date for your region etc. im not sure about the vpn coz you need to deal with battle log and starting origin up so it thinks its on a us comp... its more trouble then its worth i think lol.

I wonder how origin deal with someone buying the game in USA installing and playing on say a good laptop and coming over to Uk before Uk release

Presumably all the servers will be in the US anyway so pretty laggy to play, seems like a helluva lot of hassle to play the game 3 days early.

On a related note I think it is about time the industry tried to move to unified worldwide release dates where possible.

They stagger the release on purpose, so as not crash the servers etc..

not just that the offices that gather sales stats use different dates that effect the collection of sale data for some reason...
