I updated my nVidia drivers yesterday to 314.22 and on booting up this morning, both my g/cards fans are on full whack - 1000rpm.

Is there a driver issue here?

Grab MSi Afterburner and claw back control of your fans.

I was so worried I would break something, I've removed the official 314.22 drivers and installed the 314.21 beta's which seem to be ok for now.

What was really strange was the fact it had not installed my second graphics card, so I had no SLI profile.

314.21 installed & rebooted, SLI capability recognised & setup, fans running at 800rpm as they should be. Strange how the beta drivers appear to be in better control over the official release.

Is that the temp with the newer drivers?

And y u no use MSi Afterburner?

It was kind of hard to tell as it had only installed 1 card, but yes. My Hardware monitor reported the card I did have installed as 23 deg idle.

Dont use MSI Afterburner, no need for it :)
