Nvidia drivers and SSD

Will it benefit my gaming experience to install my the drivers for my nvidia crad on the SSD? I'm trying to be as economical with the space on it as possible.

The drivers install themselves to the windows folders.. they only unpack to your hardrive prior to installing i think...

Ok, so what about the actual; gaming side of things, will there be an improvement if the drivers are on the ssd do you know?

I dont think you can even do it...

All driver files are installed to the windows system folder which will be whichever hard drive has windows installed on it.

In terms of gaming itself installing games onto an SSD will improve loading times but no necassarily game performance.

^^ You could make filesystem links from the main disc to the SSD for those files if the main OS disc wasn't the SSD but I suspect it wouldn't work any better in reality and to do that to OS files would require a low level utility or safe mode to set it up depending on the file.

Unless the whole OS is on an SSD theres no real benefit - a lot of the critical files will be loaded into RAM anyhow.

I've looked in my ssd and the Nvidia drivers seem to be in their own 'nvidia' folder and not in the windows folder.

The OS is in the ssd. So will that make it beneficial to have the nvidia files with them?

the nVidia folder on the root of the disc is just a temp folder it makes to extract files from the package to install, once installed they are placed into your windows folder so they will already be on the SSD.

You can probably delete the c:\nVidia folder.
