Nvidia drivers causing stuttering in W7MC?

Posted this in the Windows forum but think it's actually an issue with the NVidia drivers.

Is anyone else getting intermittent video stuttering when watching live TV in media centre in Windows 7 on an NVidia card with the Aero interface enabled?

I'm using the latest WHQL drivers and the video just stutters as if it's showing every 5th frame or so. If I disable the Aero interface then it cures the problem entirely.

Looks like NVidia have screwed up yet again with their drivers.

I got a 8800GTX and I don't get any stuttering at all. I am using the new beta drivers 195.39 and I am using shark windows 7 codecs if that helps.

EDIT= I did not see LIVE TV opps sorry mate. I do watch the TV from the net in Win 7 and all is ok try that and see what happens.
Get tunerfree http://www.milliesoft.co.uk/index.p...e&id=9:iplayer-mce&catid=1:software&Itemid=11 and see if it happens when streaming off the net

Thanks for the input but it is indeed live TV from a DVB-T tuner. I also have no issues with other video using the Shark codecs.

Hmmm, I'm getting the same stuttering in W7ME which I had put down to the USB tuner I had borrowed but it sounds like it isn't the tuner's fault :(
