Hi,
I tried playing a game of IL2 last night ( hadnt played in a while ) and it looked
like poop ( no AA apparently working - everything was jaggy as hell )

I am using XP 169.21 at the moment , I tried rolling back to 169.09 but noticed the
same issue , can anyone tell me which earlier driver works properly ?

Thanks

169.21 work fine here with AA and AF:confused:

Now using XP. Only thing is in the Nvidia CP i am not able to select 4xAA. If i try to it defaults to 2x but deffo works.

In the nvidia control panel if you set it to performance it will make the global settings have AA and AF off by default. so you need to change them to application controlled instead.

It that with a game using opengl ?

IL2 uses opengl as its rendering system ( wonder if its something with opengl?)

169.09 beta's here still, later sets have ballsed profile AA/AF, you can only set it globally now for everything, but the AF could be ballsed globally as well, as you cant select 4x, if you do it jumps back to yer pervious setting, 2x/8x/16x, so god knows if those are working if 4x is buggered, plus theres only been about 3x sets after the 09's, 2 of which are only to be used by SLi ppl with the Crapsis patch, so hands up all those who have that, and the latest 28's are only to be used with UT, if you don't play that then they say not to use em, just use the previous set, so that'll be 09's then. :D

The only driver I seem to be able to get Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts to play smooth with is 163.75, plays like a hot knife through butter, anything else just seems to suck, just judders when I scroll around the map!

using 169.25s here with no AA issues on vista 64bit.

Getting a lot of TDP issues but thats for another thread hehe
