Right, I just got an 8800 GTS yesterday, and wondering about a few of the options.

Under AA, there is 8x and 8xQ also 16x and 16xQ, what the heck is the difference?

Next, I have read that there is MSAA and CSAA, what options go between the 2? is that the difference between the Q and regular 8x for example?

Furthermore, Transparency Antialiasing. I gather that supersampling is the best setting?

The reason I ask is because here http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/gf8800_14.html they show CSAA and MSAA, I just wondering which is which. Thanks for any info all :)

*EDIT*

More over, I notice that Directly under the AF settings, there is an option Anistropic Sample Optimisation which is dimmed and set to off. How the heck do you turn this on?

EDIT: dont worry about that optimisation. it mearly makes things slightly faster by looking slightly worse. you dont need it.

So basically, Whether or not I turn on SuperSampling or multisampling is the difference between CSAA ?

Strange though that option is greyed out in my menu (the sample optimisation one)
