any suggestions please??

Tried downloading them again? Could just be a dodgey download.

If not, try omega drivers, do a google :)

Is it JUST the drivers that wont install? If it's a lot of different things then it could be your RAM that's dodgey.

just the drivers i guess...i don;t seem too have any at all???in add/remove programs i have no referance to nvidia at all...i've tried nvidia website but no luck..removing and replacing card useless..system restore hasn't helped..

A complete format and reinstall of Windows might a good idea.
If you go into device manager what does it show for a graphics adapter?

In device manager, click "uninstall"
Then reboot into safe mode & run drvier cleaner
Then reboot & install new drivers
Then reboot 1 last time

;)

Just run the self-install for the new drivers and you'll be fine. There's no need to go looking in add/remove programs, nor do you need to uninstall previous drivers. You can keep installing new NV drivers on top of other NV drivers as often as you like.

Your PC is probably using the XP default nvidia drivers, which won't show up in "add/remove" anyway.

Talking of drivers, shouldnt there be a stick thread about all different Nvidia drivers as and when they appear, with people getting to comment on them? Im sure that some people just stick to the nvidia website official drivers, but with all those Beta drivers they seem to make big improvements, so much so that it is not best to ignore them.

Would also stop there being so many "whats the latest best nvidia driver" threads in the absense of all else

They just might, but there are no comments about them all, and I dont really have all day to try all the drivers if several people have tried & tested a specific one, with all having much faster results.

I am currently on 91.33 myself, a BETA driver, but apparently they have several bug & game fixes over the 91.31 official drivers. They also have enabled features such as "Pure Video" whatever that means?
