Nvidia Drivers

I know this isn't 'really' a games question, but I'm not getting much of a bite in the Graphics Card forum... and after all, gamers need the latest drivers!

Anyway, I have XFX GeForce 7800GTX 256mb card running on Windows XP professional SP2. I'm going to rebuild my system, and need to know what the latest drivers are for the graphics cards. From what I can gather on the Nvidia website, the latest one is 93.71.

Is this correct, or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Yes your right, that's the most recent official driver...there are two or three beta's, with higher version numbers 96's and a 97 which you can try.

Look at www.guru3d.com a great source for drivers.

I'm using the 97.02 on a 7600gt and find it a great driver...it was released for the 8800 cards, but has been modded to run on most cards.

they are the latest drivers iirc, however they dont work with bf2142 if your planning to play that

http://www.guru3d.com has a whole range of drivers some 3rd party
i am currently trying ForceWare 97.02 Win2000/XP
