nVidia Drivers

I've just reinstalled my old Ti4200 nVidia card and its working fine using the microsoft driver @ 1280 x 1024 resolution. Is there any point in installing the latest nVidia driver? What would I gain?

youd be lucky to get any drivers from the last 2 years to install.

It wasn't really a question of how recent the drivers would be just if I gain anything by using the latest (even if they're five years old!) nVidia drivers pending me buying a replacement for my dead 9800PRO.

the microsoft drivers wouldnt play very well in games (if u can find a game that 4200 can play well with).
