NVIDIA Drivers

What does it actually require to install them?

I'm trying to install XP SP1 on my machine for various reasons, but it can't be SP2/3 due to P55/X58 motherboards having USB polling rate issues.

I've tried installing the NVIDIA drivers but it keeps failing on install, does it now require SP2/3 or maybe I just need to install the .net framework?

GFX is GTX460.

I had this once with ati drivers and that was down to net framework

Installed .NET 2.0 with no luck. Nvidia just fails to install.

Don't understand why they changed their driver requirements!
