my 8800gts 320mb runs this at like 9fps on xp lol, looks great though

What setting is the multisampler?

With it set to 1.5 I get 2-3fps With it set to 1 I get 10fps

Prefer the ATI demos myself, the Toy Shop one was astounding. The Ruby ones are very impressive too. Little more going on than just a single character.

Last NV demo I found impressive was that old galleon where you could fire the cannons. Still only a single model though

Just received my 8800GTS 640 meg (leadtech), and ran this demo, It looks amazing, and ran smooth as at 1680x 1050. 8800 GTS certainly blew my mind with its raw power, and clocking the beast is a breeze, got to 640 mhz core clock straight away. Happy bunny for now.

Not bad considering its on the same level as pre-rendered CGI.

That said, I'm guessing we will need about 100x the power of a 8800 GTX to get a proper game with that level of detail and playable frame rates.

Then accept that the graphics won't be quite as detailed as the human head demo.

Runs smooth on mine at 1680x1050 and 1.5 multisample. Very impressive - would love to see the head animated
