Don't use nVidia firewall ?

I'd guess there's got to be some sort of program control somewhere in the settings that'll have block / unblock stuff on the program.

yeah seriously dont use nVidia firewall. i had sooo many problems with it.

it even blocked me from viewing this forum :eek:

It comes with nForce chipset drivers usually.

I don't use it either, I reinstalled the Motherboard drivers and selected not to install it as it was corrupting downloads. Took me ages to figure out the problem. :mad:

go to your nforce control panel...I think it's quite a good firewall actually.

nvidia firewall is a pos

uninstall it, and just use xpsp2's firewall as long as you're not a total noob and installing crap on your pc then you dont need outbound protection

When you install the mobo drivers it ask whether you want to install Nvidia Activearmour, if you install that you can enable the firewall. It installs some pretty hefty processes that use a good chunk of memory.
