Nvidia folder & freezing problem

Hello all,

Everytime XP starts up the nvidia folder that contains graphic and motherboard drivers pops up.

My PC keeps freezing when playing games. First the game will freeze then the PC. After a minute or two it goes back to normal.

Anyone know how to fix these problems?

Have you tried reinstalling them ?

Does it freeze whilst just in windows or just gaming?

Yes, I have tried reinstalling them and it only ever freezes when playing a game.

Sounds like heat related.Take side off case and see if it makes any difference.

I've already got the side off.

I'll give everything a clean tomorrow and see if that helps.

At boot up and while running

You should be able to right click desktop and select..
Properties/settings/advanced/geforce tab/then click on temp settings on left.

Oh, sorry, I know that I thought you meant CPU, RAM and GPU.

At start the GPU is around 50c, when running it tops at 59c when gaming for hours.

Well they seem ok.Have you tried mbm5 to check your other temps?
