nVIDIA ForceWare X 100.87 Win2000/XP (32-bit)

ForceWare X, so do these drivers feature a new control panel?.

Pretty much the same as the control panel from the 90 series, except that the overclocking utility directs you to install n-tune, even with coolbits installed.

I wish they would go back to the nice, simple, easy to use panel from the older drivers.

Does ATI tool allow you to overclock the shaders seperate to the Core? I don't think it does, as NV still don't seem to have supported this feature, despite claiming they would :/

Really? I wasn't aware...

Simple to do?

do a search 'old control panel'

god knows how many times I've posted it :p

So a quick summary, are these drivers any good for games?

Don't care about benchmarks. :)

Quote from Unwinder, programmer of Rivatuner.

You may force Rivatuner to recognize XP 100.xx driver as 9x.xx one (e.g. 9792) to get it working. That can be done via the PowerUser tab by setting ForceDriverVersion key to desired version (e.g. 9792 decimal or 2640 hexadecimal).

anybody else noticed you cant turn gamma correct AA off with these?

i left all my settings before and with these drivers the fog is almost gone and whats left is hard to explain you can see like a big clear polygon of fog. there is still a bit left.

Only thing is that the game crashes now.

because gamma AA reduces the image quality and its slower as well?

I thought Gamma AA increased the IQ mate?

The description in the NV CP says "Turn this on to improve image quality and colour of 3d images."
