After using this for the last week or so I definitely think this is worth recommending.
Essentially Limelight is an opensource (free) implementation of Nvidia GameStream protocol that can be used with a variety of devices - including Android based ones.

The new Amazon Fire TV (£80, Amazon Controller £35 - wired Xbox360 pad also work!) is an Android based device and while limelight isn't available natively at the moment it can be installed without a great amount of effort.
- Simple instructions for how to sideload any APK here: http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-sideload-apps-to-your-amazon-fire-tv-using-a-windows-pc/
- Limelight APK here: https://github.com/limelight-stream/limelight-android/releases
So yeah, obviously there's lag - but it's manageable - and with the right games (Wolf Among Us for example) it's hardly noticeable. It's even playable over WiFi I'd say!
In fact I'd say that the biggest problem at the moment is the overly large dead zone for the controller which I've yet to find a solution for.
So yeah, on top of the Amazon Fire TV being a great bit of kit for watching videos on the ability to steam games from your PC is also a massive bonus if you've got an Nvidia card and another room that you'd like to do some casual gaming from.
There's a thread over in Home Cinema & HiFi with more info if anyone is interested: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18590873&page=3
