NVIDIA Geforce 266.58 WHQL

I had some strange stuff in three games where textures flashed/stretched or didn't draw properly or even the screen totally messed up then rebooted and it went.

Could this be a driver issue? this is with these drivers, used 263.09s before and had 0 problems.(like i said though i rebooted then tried Crysis with 16xqaa even at 1920x1200 to stress card for 15mins and nothing odd happened.)

I really hope the card is ok as i bought it just over a week ago. :(

EDIT: Read some Guru3d forums and seems a guy with same issue so it seems to be related to the driver so if anyone else encounters odd stuff like this please say what you did to resolve it.

GTX 570 @ 890 Mhz (266.58 drivers, latest to date)
i7 950 @ 3.9 ghz
All benches ran on a 7200 RPM HDD

Crysis

Settings: 2560x1440; AA=2x; VeryHigh; DirectX: 10; ~~ Overall Average FPS: 25.175

Metro 2033

Settings: 2560x1440; AAA; AF 16X; High; PhysX: Enabled; Tesselation: Enabled; DOF: Disabled ~~ Overall Average FPS: 40.12

with Very High, Overall Average FPS: 29.27

with Very High + MSAA x4, Overall Average FPS: 22.06

with Very High + DoF, Overall Average FPS: 19.00

with Very High + MSAA x4 + DoF, Overall Average FPS: 12.02

Unigine Heaven 2.1

Settings: 2560x1440; x4 AA; x16 AF; Tesselation NORMAL; Shaders HIGH ~~ Overall Average FPS: 31.5

just installed these 266.58 drivers on my 460GTX 1gig and they seem to finally stopped the 'Display Driver not responding' problem commonly found in DoW 2...

however, the drivers seemed to have removed 1440*900 from the modes list in nVidia control panel ? I can manually input it and save but some games simply don't have that screen res for selection !!

checked the monitor drivers and they havent changed, re-installed the previous nVidia drivers and 1440*900 works fine on those.. so any tips or reasons why this happens plz ?
 
Just got around to trying these drivers on my GTX460 - absolutely horrible for me! Frame rates dropped through the floor (even in Quake Live, ffs!) and my card also gets absurdly hot - the fan is absolutely screaming.

Went back to the 260's and everything is normal again. Oh well :(
