Thanks. Was wondering when they'd release new drivers. Not had WHQL drivers for a long time?

4 months. They still aren't due yet either according to manualG from Nvidia. Theres a few sets the public can't get their hands on though which I have sat on my hard drive from january (290.66 and 290.18) but they are a TDR test fix driver and a CUDA driver, the later being WHQL but not exactly designed for games lol.

They are taking the TDR issue seriously so probably don't wanna give out WHQL drivers with that issue still there, which is understandable.

Basically when the display drivers keep crashing and being recovered.

Oh right, funny that. I haven't had one of those for ages.

The only recent crash was when I was watching a youtube video while playing skyrim, not sure if the crashes are related but apparantly the video time out has been fixed in this update. :)

Plus I'm looking forward to playing Reckoning with SLI working straight off the bat. :p

ive had the driver fail happen a couple times, and thought it was quite weird, but i could never repeat it so i let it slip by. good to know theres something being done about it :D

The TDR issue is only really a problem for a limited selection of GTX460 cards with certain motherboards and some GTX560 cards (may be related to motherboard compatibility but I don't think anyones 100% got down to the root of the problem) you _shouldn't_ see the issue with GTX470s.

As mentioned above nVidia seem to be holding off on a WHQL release until the TDR issues are ironed out.
