NVIDIA FXAA Technology – shader-based anti-aliasing technology available from the NVIDIA Control Panel that enables ultra-fast anti-aliasing in hundreds of PC games. FXAA delivers similar quality to 4x multi-sample antialiasing (MSAA) but is up to 60% faster, enabling substantially higher performance in games. FXAA is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Note: This feature is disabled for games that already have built-in support for FXAA. Visit GeForce.com to learn more.

NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync – dynamically enables vertical sync based on your current frame rates for the smoothest gaming experience. Adaptive VSync is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Visit GeForce.com to learn more.

They seem fine installed and 2d seems nicer, the desktop and firefox look clearer and nicer colours. 3D seems good too and a nice boost on most games I tried and benchmarked.

I'm using windows 7 64bit Ultimate and a GTX 580.

I play BFBC2 only, so those drivers are SLOWER on my 2xGTX 460 SLI system, and adaptive sync is some kind of joke. Adaptive (interval 2) gives 30 fps, but is NOT fluent, I can see tearing of screen. Massacre.

I was waiting for 300.xx drivers, but now it seems I will go back to previous 296.10. Maybe I'll check BF3 later.

P.S. Update.
Once SSA Tools disabled and replaced MSAAx4 to FXAA = it gives me back 6- FPS fluent. But with no adaptive VSync anyway :)

This driver reduces stuttering in deus ex hr the most out of all the drivers recently released, on my pc. Driver 301.40 was unplayable so I was using the 301.25 which came on the disk.

Batman ac has also improved. I am still testing other games but it looks like a keeper for me.

What card you got?

Get a sig sorted!

Maybe worth noting on 301.24 and 301.42 driver, if I use Power Management Mode = [Prefer maximum performance]

Using Google Chrome web browser my clocks would virtually run at maximum i.e. 979MHz /1.012mV, using [Adaptive] it would drop down, Firefox and Internet Explorer are fine with either setting i.e. 324MHz / 0.987mV.

It's not really an issue as standard setting is [adaptive] anyway.
