Many people on the forums used this yet?

If I build a new PC later this year I'll be quite tempted to get this. Could completely change the way games are played and for only £119.99 including VAT it seems a bit of a bargain to me.

yes i use this.

you would also need a 120hz monitor and a nvidia graphics card gtx460 or higher.

I have it on my Asus Laptop. Really impressive stuff from just looking at the Demo's that come on the disc.

Is encouraging me to buy 3D films.

As above you do need a 120Hz TFT and either 200 series SLI or a mid-range or higher 400 series nVidia card.

Personally I don't think its worth it, yes the effect is quite good, especially in games made for it like Batman AA its quite jaw dropping... but... I definitely don't consider it the next logical step forward for gaming and theres too few decent 3D movies avaiable to home users to make it worth it there either.

Personally I found it too much extra hassle/inconvenience for gaming, having to set it up, often having to turn off many advanced shader effects to make it work with 3D Vision - some games you sacrifice as much or more in advanced effects as the 3D Vision effect makes up for and in fast paced FPS games online, etc. I just felt like it was holding me back.

Everyones going to have a different experience with it and I know some people love it. Pretty much everyone who has used my kit however are of the same opinion - great effect but they wouldn't buy it having now used it.
