Evening,

I've been considering purchasing the 3d vision kit and I'm looking for a few opinions on it and couldn't find any old threads.

Are games still made to support it? The Nvidia list seems rather short so it seems to be restricted to just a few games.

Anyone used/using it now? Don't fancy buying it if it's only worthwhile for a few titles.

Cheers

Do you already have a compatible monitor?

If not, I'd wait a bit until G-Sync becomes widely available.

Also, don't forget oculus rift/morpheus is just around the corner!

Yeh I've had a 120hz 3d LG monitor for a couple of years as i figured i might be tempted by 3d at some point.

Oculus rift was another thought but unsure how that'll play out with FB buying it. Surely won't be this year?

Any comments on the games 3d vision supports? BF4 is AMD supported mainly eh? Will it still work well with that and other games that aren't Batman.

Sure Skyrim is fantastic with 3d vision. There's a lot of games that are supported there's a huge list in the nvcp.

I'd say go for it, there's more games that work than some think, just take a look at the NVidia list in the control panel, it's huge not to mention just because it aint listed doesn't mean it wont work, I've played plenty of games in 3D that is not on the list. Some amazing titles in 3D I can think of are Assetto Corsa, Batman games, F1, Race 07, Crysis 3, Call of duty games, Grid 2, Metro 1&2, Tomb Raider games, Trine 1&2, hell I could go on and on.

Just give Assetto Corsa a go in 3D then play without and you'll never want to play it without 3D again, Trine 2 will blow your socks off. 3d vision is awesome and I'd definitely recommend it, you could always flog it if it don't work for you. Oh forgot Just cause 2, just wait till you see that in 3D. I'd recommend a hefty gpu though and sli would be a bonus, A single 680 would be ok for most games though.

If you decide to try then be sure to check back and let us know as there are one or two tips we could share.
