Well i thought it might be about time that i upgraded my 4 year old nvidia geforce 8800GTX graphics card, but i wanted to know what the modern day equivalent was

ok, sorry i went and disappeared. so, how much do i want to spend? well i'm not going to be too specific, but probably around the price range of £200 - £450
Err... well i play most games at my highest resolution (2560 x 1600). they run ok at the moment, but 27fps can be a bit slow at times... i normally play vehicle-based games.
i have core 2 quad (unfortunately, all my parts come from an old PC) overclocked to 3.4 GHz and a 700watt cooler master GX Lite.
