i've been hunting on ebay for days, crops of em coming up at 80-90 quid then bam spotted this one and hey presto, cant wait for it to arrive, ( coming from a ati radeon HD2600XT ) borderlands should finally look mildly playable haha

9800GT is almost a rebadged 8800GT which I've been using for 2 1/2 years. it's a really ggreat card and you should have no problem running Borderlands on it.

So what's new? The number of '3Ghz x4 cores = 12GHZ!' i see on PC adverts is unbelievable but i guess they feel they have to compete for the 'bigger is better' less knowledgeable folks.

Amazing that some still make £90. I picked up a 9800GTX+ with a full ek waterblock on MM for £45 a few months ago.

Guess there are still idiots out there on Ebay.

At £80-90 I might try to sell the one I just removed from my system, considering I bought it for about £80 a year ago... I'd be happy enough to get £30 for it really. Pretty good card though, played borderlands at full detail without a struggle iirc.
