**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

I am surprised that reviews and benchmarks don't include 3440x1440 as a resolution. You have to do some estimates to extrapolate from the 2560x1440 to get an idea.

I am so glad my Titan XP had really bad coil whine and I returned it for a refund. I would have been mortified if I still had it when the 'TI' spec was announced.

PCR Awards last night!
OcUK won best retailer award!!! :) :D

Now I'm off to Berlin to party with Caseking guys and our new acquisition in Portugal, OcUK growing by the day as this now makes us a 200M+ revenue group. :)

Congrats and make sure you get too drunk :D

First GTX 1080 Ti review leaked by accident from 3DNews. They forget to adjust clock. lol

Nice one cheers. Looking very good.

Nice, so basically a Titan X Pascal, very slightly ahead even thanks to what is likely a shade faster boost. I do wonder what effect the faster memory is having and how it overclocks.

Basically the leaked review (if to be trusted) is confirming the expected performance at least that is how I read it. What we still do not know is the performance of the FE regarding thermal throttling and noise.

I fully expect the card will throttle in that it will go up to 83 or so degrees and reduce boost on stock profile. May just be that compared with the Titan X Pascal cooler, it will be able to maintain 83 degrees with a notch higher boost clock speeds.

Nvidia finally took the money from my account and moved it to processing, here's hoping for dispatch today with any luck.
Yep, mine flipped to processing ~10 am and another pending card transaction for the full amount. Looks like I will be sticking with the Nvidia order. Real shame OCUK weren't allowed to offer pre-orders.

Nice to see some benchmarks but why on earth aren't there 980Ti comparisons. It's all well and good comparing cards but the majority of those buying a 1080Ti will be upgrading from the 9xx series!!
The previous generation Titan is on their comparison. A 980Ti is close to that. You can get a rough idea of where a 980Ti will fall.

No the NDA has two stages with dates specified by Nvidia. You are just not able to disclose performance figures until later today.

I have the Ti NDA chart in my email :D Comes under the " Promotion and data" section technically. but im all glad for NDAs being broken haha

but promotion can be directed at 3rd party cards so, yeah. FE could slip the gap for promotion , unveiling and tease shots.

bit of a snub from Nvidia to vendors really

Holy crap AMD have some *major* catching up to do!! Can they really make Vega twice as fast as a FuryX?? They need to! (and that's without the aftermarket Ti's that will run at 2000+)

put the price of my gtx 1080 back up to a better price for me lol just sat back and realised I don't really need the Ti as I hardly pay games at the moment..so yeah if someone does snap I will but not sweating, its still a £300-350 upgrade for me and I hardly play games.. if anything I will probably just do some benching lol
