No 980ti? No 1070 or 1080?

No, but look at Maxwell 2

Halo product was Titan X, which was very quick (I have two)

Then Pascal launched and a 1070 GTX was pretty much 'as fast' and a 1080 GTX was faster (albeit with less VRAM)

Same will happen with Volta.

1170 will be 1080Ti levels of performance
1180 will be faster.
 
Looking at this and the jump from FuryX to 1080Ti Price Range for VEGA AMD need to aim within the ballpark of Ti and 1080 and price it competitively. Lets say its £500 for Big Vega not has fast as the Ti but faster than the 1080 would this be a failure from you guy?

FuryX was £550 on launch if I remember correctly, so I can't see big vega coming in at less than that, it was before brexit too.
