**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Looking at this and the jump from FuryX to 1080Ti Price Range for VEGA AMD need to aim within the ballpark of Ti and 1080 and price it competitively. Lets say its £500 for Big Vega not has fast as the Ti but faster than the 1080 would this be a failure from you guy?

Honestly, as long as it's got a decent boost over a FuryX then I'm happy with that (45-50%). Personally I just don't want them pushed to the absolute limit again which leaves not much room for tweakability :(

The aftermarket Ti's are gonna be monsters.....

I'm so tempted.

I feel like it's probably not a massive performance boost for me in games where SLI scales well, but oh to be on a single card....

Although I'd need a DL-DVI adaptor for my 30" second monitor.

Same am not expecting Ti beating performance I said for a while now Vega need to be 1080 or higher performance and be priced very decent! Interesting times I still feel Nvidia have released this Ti based on what they know of Vega.

Yup, nVidia know something that we don't or else they wouldn't have given the Ti so many cores. They seem to do *just* enough to stay ahead. I'll be happy with just under Ti performance personally, as long as it comes in just under the pricing :)

Makes you wonder what memory configuration AMD are gonna go for though, as 8GB will have to undercut it by a fair bit (and maybe holding off the 16GB for Vega 2?).

Wouldn't surprise me if they had a GDDR5X based Vega imo, level the playing field somewhat

So looking at reviews, going from SLI Maxwell TX would be a wise move? At 3440*1440.

No as your setup is faster when Sli is scaling well. If you are not getting good sli scaling then it's a wise move. I would imagine if you sold those 2 Titans you would have enough to buy the 1080ti. I would rather have one really fast card these days over 2 cards that slightly beat it in performance due to multi-gpu support not being great these days. Titan X Maxwell sli is still the more powerful setup but that would chop and change in every game.

Not if your cards scale well in the games you play. If you can get good money for those Titan's i would get them sold and jump to a one card

They generally don't and I usually have to wait for patches. Still now in COD infinity for example cutscenes stutter with SLI. I've been wanting a single card for some time but I don't really wan to wait for the next gen.

One review puts it 85% faster than the Fury X  :D

Can not wait for the customs!

Not in all games is it that much though, same has the Ti vs 1080 I have seen 50fps difference but again that was not all games.

VEGA will have HBC this will allow the user to have has much Vram they need so long the system has enough spear. For example from my reading you can use RAM has Vram etc how well this plays out we after wait and see.
