to be fair, yes, the 980Ti was/still is a VERY good card. Mine has served me very well even at 4k resoloutions, but its time to go even further now. Hello GTX1080Ti.

to be fair it does look like the jump of 35% over a 1080 is actually real, which is great. Still not reliable 4k60 but so damn close man. However and this is the big down point, once we get 4k at 144 + hz, I don't believe that even the 1080TI will be enough.
