**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

This!

So, cards will be live at 6pm. We have plenty of EVGA FE for launch so if you desparately want one ASAP, that's your best bet. Stock will be available on other brands too. That's all folks!

P.S. Get your F5's warmed up :)

EVGA is one we have most off so be quick on it and then Zotac is second most.

Lots more due next week on all FE cards so order in confidence as wait times on FE cards is only 1-2 weeks if sold out and custom cards will be April

what do i do. I am so bloody torn. Assuming the AIB will be cheaper than FE? I have a full tower case so taking that into consideration with airflow, I was meaning to downsize most of my stuff into Matx, I mean I can wait.. but I love buying new stuff.

So official now from Gibbs no aib cooler cards until April. Guess we will make that May for the asus strix and evga ftw cards then and then only about ten a day of course. You think they would have learnt from the last time but no

I'm torn :/. The more I read the less I actually want one lol. For someone who knows naff all about overclocking and never buys custom fans, waterblocks on top of card value what is the best play here wait for AIB cards or get the Founders Edition? Price is not the issue here.

If you can wait an extra 2 months, then do so. The 980 is still decent enough at that resolution, the difference between the good aftermarket coolers is quite stark. Looking at the 1080 for example, looking at a 20 degree difference between the reference design (which is the FE) and the aftermarket ones. Which means the card will not downclock itself when it hits the thermal limit (80 degrees) which the FE comfortably hits under load.
