This is a long shot but...
I have two 980s on EVGA hybrid coolers. Are the holes the same spacing on 1080ti? Can I reuse one of these coolers?
The EVGA Hybrid for the 1080/70 does not list the 980ti as compatible that being said gamers nexus use a EVGA hybrid cooler and he does say its from a 980ti (https://youtu.be/bQ-Y08enNG0?t=93)

The 980ti EVGA Hybrid pump/bracket fit the 1080 if thats any help. What you will find is the cowl needs to be heavily butchered to fit. Got some pictures of it somewhere that I did.

But if you get an FE now, you can just buy an EVGA Hybrid cooler and you wont have to wait a month for the AIB.
And EVGA cards allow removal for the cooler for watercooling under warranty.
Thats what I'm thinking but im still on the fence.

Don't you already have 2 or 4 titan x cards watercooled which are pretty much the same performance as the ti?
Yes 4 watercooled Pascal Titans hence the reason I don't need to get a 1080 Ti today.
Having said that I do collect cards so I will go for non reference at some point.
