**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Got a satisfactory reply from msi for cooler removal.
Content:
Dear Troy,

Thanks for your message.
As explained with the previous reply by [email protected] team, the cooler can be removed.
However, to request for warranty service, the card with the cooler must be in original condition.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Thanks.

Best regards,

MSI component service team.

Bit surprised that there is no ETA dates on the custom 1080Ti's except one. Looking around, seems the Gigabyte is coming in stock tomorrow and I have even seen the MSI Armour in stock. Me showing my impatience really and just want to know if the Gigabyte G1 will be at OcUK tomorrow @Gibbo

Gregster: I would send CS a note mate as it looks like Gigabyte are ahead of the curve and there is a batch of G1 and Aurous being shipped to U.K end-users tomorrow.

re: Zotac, funny thing is their best 1080ti card (the PGF) has even more voltage but the waterblock warranty policy is confusing and seems to conflict with their cards.

order number : OC3249363 gibbo any word mate ? LOL arghh heheh well i have nightshift im hoping for a miracle that they get pushed forward and sent out today otherwise no weekend play for me hehe will check the thread again after i wake back up :D

What's the likely difference in FPS at 1440p of the cheapest founders edition card available and the most expensive of the new 1080ti's coming out?
Bling and lighting is of no interest to me but noise levels are....
Any advice appreciated

Noise level difference could be huge, I say could be as the really top tier cards (not released yet) can have higher idle fan speed. In terms of FPS difference it is case-by-case because many reviews are done in air-conditioned labs with open cases.

That said you could get 2-5fps or more in 1440p depending on game/settings etc.

Seems like 1080ti MSI Gaming X shipping out to people today in the UK from other stores - shame I really wanted that Asus Strix which I have on preorde, however once again Asus have changed the release date 3 times...

Gigabyte, Inno3D, Zotac, Asus custom cards have now all shipped! Due anyday but there will be little to nothing spare as we are fulfilling backorders.

Asus: 100+ Strix due next week (all pre-sold)
Inno3D: 200+ due anyday (most pre-sold)
Gigabyte/Aorus: 80 due anyday (all pre-sold)
Zotac: 60 due anyday (most pre-sold), this is blower version only, Extreme should ship next week and AMP in a couple of weeks.

The most impressive is Asus shipping some real nice volume of Strix OC so early, should land at OcUK next Thursday/Friday.

Cheers for that. I will ask in CS if I am in the first batch :)

This has been a nightmare waiting im glad it is almost over feeling stressed out :D

I was inclined to get the ASUS STRIX but the Aorus is a beast, the thing is quality control i have heard some really crapy stories on some of their products, like changing out circuit components to inferior ones on some boards, that kept me away form buying their boards but now they have some real nice cards!!! decisions....any insight on Gigabyte? or stick with ASUS?

Also MSI is always a top choice for me and have had great time with there cards, stable good overclocks as well...But the Aorus really looks top top!
