I asked about 20 pages back and got no response but which card should I be buying? £800 ish limit. I have no desire to overclock, watercool etc.
ASUS ROG Strix https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-410-as.html
Gigabyte Aorus https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-000-au.html
Gigabyte Gaming https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-18v-gi.html
Zotac AMP Edition https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zota...s-graphics-card-zt-p10810d-10p-gx-10e-zt.html
Or another?
Most German sites stating 20th 24th april for amp extreme, some saying 3-4 weeks lol, I'd be very surprised if ocuk grab a batch before 20th april.
I has same dilema - went for zotac as 5 year warranty
yeah agreed - I looked as Asus too but their customer service seems to leave a lot to be desired coupled with shorter warranty. Zotac seems to have a good service record and the warranty was a bonus. Plus it is a monster Pretty much all will be OK - depends what floats your boat. Warranty was the main difference for me. Just sayin....Peace of Mind is allways good but in 3 or 4 years time you will properly need to upgrade your card anyway if you want to keep your FPS up with the current AAA titles. Just keep that in mind. My own card has 3 years warranty and by the time that ends I will properly need to upgrade anyway

Mines arrived also. So far highest temp i've seen is 70 but not really stressed it, boosts as high as 2025 and as low as 1925 I've seen so far. Will have to try it out longer in a game to really see.
By far the quietest graphics card I've ever owned even @ 65% fan its barely audible and my old G1 Gaming 980ti would be quite loud at that point and noticeable with headphones on. The Aorus i heard nothing with headphones on.
Mine is being despatched on 14th April but not next day so will arrive Monday.
Found some stock of Gigabyte FE cards cheaper than most other places by a bit, should i wait for EVGA stock or try the Gigabyte? Depends which is best with warranty on cooler removal.. the rainforest already gave me £10 credit since I've had the EVGA on order for a little while and no sign of stock still.
Thicker than a donkey's dangler
Not sure then, I've read many mixed things about Gigabyte and cooler removal, with EVGA though everyone seems to say it's fine.Rep mentioned on here a few times, cooler removal is fine , long as you dont ^&&* the thing up whilst doing it haha. they dont put stickers on screws. EVGA the same, official state it but im sure if you got UV liquid of scratches on PCB would be a void
