**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install my Zotac amp extreme, it has power but no display on the monitors. Also there seems to be a blue light that flashes on the card. I also got a a beep and then quick triple beep when booting from the motherboard.

Anyone have any ideas?

Actually it's one beep and then three quicker ones. If I put my old card back in it's fine.

I have a Corsair enthusiast 750TX bronze. I was told on these forums that was fine.

That means faulty GPU or no GPU signal. Try a motherboard BIOS update or find another system to test the card in.

Hi Gibbo,

I'll try a BIOS update but I'm sure I'm on the latest. Also I don't have another system to be able to test the card.

Hi Hodgy, yes the power cables are all connected :)

I had this once tinkering with the system. Had to clear the BIOS settings for it to re-detect.

I'm using an Asus X99-A and am on the latest and have no probs with mine. Don't forget to try another slot too.

I'm thinking possible psu though if it's more than 5 years old... (won't have the ampage to power it possibly, Corsair are known to use fairly poor manufactures for certain ones)

Somehow the Intel GPU was overriding the dedicated card. Even though it is all auto detect but the EUFI never saw anything in the PCI-E slots.

ZOTAC AMP EXTREME OR AORUS EXTREME ?

Toss a coin they are equally the two best 1080Ti on the market, there is no better if you want the BEST OUT THE BOX card, they are unrivalled, similar cost, both great warranties. :)

Or just buy the Strix and have a great all rounder and stock on Strix next week, 100+ of them! :)

The coin has decided AORUS extreme

Thanks to everyone who responded, a BIOS updated worked! I though I had the latest but Asus released a new BIOS last month!

I am up and running to great relief!

Little bit concerned by this myself. I'm running a 4770k on a Gigabyte OC mobo and I'm pretty sure that there aren't any bios updates for it.

So far 2 runs of heaven on this amp extreme, overclocked +50 boosting to 2025, falling back to 2012, no crash, not going over 66-67 c full load, i think it will take more, how do you post pics on here ?
