Any of you guys who go posted confirmation today for the strix able to track it yet? I can't but it might be a bit early

Little bit concerned by this myself. I'm running a 4770k on a Gigabyte OC mobo and I'm pretty sure that there aren't any bios updates for it.

Maybe it's just an Asus thing, hence the BIOS release around the time the 1080TI was announced?

So far 2 runs of heaven on this amp extreme, overclocked +50 boosting to 2025, falling back to 2012, no crash, not going over 66-67 c full load, i think it will take more, how do you post pics on here ?

Great results there. If the amp extreme is one of the best cards, then we need to include the Sea Hawk X amongst them. I am also seeing the same results with one, and even lower temps.

Thanks to everyone who responded, a BIOS updated worked! I though I had the latest but Asus released a new BIOS last month!

I haven't gamed yet so i'd imagine much lower temps when just gaming, also forgot to say max tdp of 92.7 % so unless these cards clock way higher than they do then increasing the power beyond 100 % is pointless.

Spoke with CS today, apparently they're expecting another AMP delivery on the 14th but of course no idea how many.. Fingers crossed it will be more then 5

Yep I'm impressed to be fair, can't hear it playing games, it's silent, it's a heavy card, heaviest I've seen before, tried +100 but instant crash in heaven, however I'll take a 2ghz boost.

Does it sag in the slot much? That's the only thing I don't like much with the heavy cards.

Nope not 1 bit, it has a solid well build frame around it.

So due to complication on my order i have missed out on my place in line for the strix (43rd) (due to 2 diff cards on my order and issues with finance only being able to ship when both are in stock) i gonna see if I can get both cards as Zotac AE cards or its gonna be a merry go round of one in stock one not for the foreseeable future so hopefully zotac send a nice big batch next week or end of this week just waiting on CS to see if they will do it for me

Zotac aint the best looking card imo but it sure as hell is a beast and it's better than no card at all for ages

And my buddy won't go for the strix cuz "he's all about brand loyalty" and only ever had zotac cards

seems I'm a victim of circumstance lol

Hope customer service can see me right or ill end up stuck with this 770 if been using temp after I sold my 980ti and my buddy had his spare 970 back
