**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Yes, all modern psu's get 12v from the same rail, unless you have a switch on the psu which has split the rails, but usually that's older psu's i think.

thank you Adrian that is good to know,

it has a connector with it but i wonder if it is better to use my own psu cables. I will go with 2 x 8 pin separate

Have to say I'm impressed with the 1080 ti, just tried a bit of ghost recon wildlands at 1440p maxed out apart from vegetation down 1 notch 64c 82% usage 65c 92% usage :D

I just spoke with CS and they told me that any cards they sent out today will arrive on Tuesday at the earliest as DPD doesn't process parcels on Saturday. Just in case anyone was hoping they would receive a parcel shipped today tomorrow..

1st one I've checked to compare is tech powerup's review comparison.and it's looking like the coolest card, although I've not seen load temps for the aorus extreme, my card is +50 core +300 ram so not stock, it maybe a degree cooler if I put it back to zotac's default clocks for the amp extreme.

That's what I found out too. I was told earlier in the week (and last week) that it would be delivered on Saturday, which is disappointing! Oh well, just a few more days hopefully :)

They also told me that they 'hope' cards will arrive today but they can just as well 'slip' to next week... Shipments usually arrive late afternoon/ evening so all we can do is keep our fingers crossed and check the status of out orders late evening/ tomorrow morning ;-)

Still no vram stacking that we were promised with dx12
We werent promised that. A basic understanding of how a 2 card setup works instantly dispells the rumour. Pcie isnt fast enough to allow it even vaguely to work how people assumed. Each card still needs all the textures itself so a texture can only be dumped if its not being used, even with split screen rendering the savings would be pretty minimal.

Is OCUK ever going to get stock in for the MSI Sea Hawk X, I pre ordered on the 10th of March and since then a UK competitor has stock in twice now and when you check on the OCUK site they is not even a due date for stock :(

Pardon my ignorance, I havent had the time to read the entire thread yet, so what is the best way to get the most out of the card, is it via flashing a new bios or covering those 3 shunts with CLU ? I have my gigabyte founders under heatkiller and lookin to squeeze every bit of performance out of it now. The upgrade from 980ti really seems worth it, atleast for me 1440p 144hz aint easy to drive.
I already downloaded the 4.4.0 afterburner so I quess I can play with the voltage, is there anything else I should do ?
