It's faulty I'm afraid, they should work out the box.
I've heard a few instances of this now and apparently it's a plug that's not connected correctly under the heatsink, poor quality control on zotac's part unfortunately.

Really? Wow that sucks. I have installed the firestorm software and the spectra tab is greyed out.

Yep if it's greyed out it's not communicating with the software, if you have another pc to try it in then you should, but I've heard of this before, it's a plug not connected properly somewhere, do a search on Google.

My goodness I am slow and out of the loop. So although I have a freesync monitor it is also 144Hz, so I don't have much to worry about really (I think!).

with zotac warranty i believe you cant remove the heatsink, are you cable to get to the connector/lead and plug into the header? most have them out the skirts of the PCB.

Yep sounds like it, i read on reddit somewhere that it's not accessible unless you remove the heatsink, rma it.
Yea deffo RMA as Zotac do not allow any cooler removal and any tampering voids warranty.

Yeah, dark grey but not black or jet black if one wants to be picky. The bar on top is black. I guess we'll find out though...
Hard to tell but maybe it is black, the SC2 in black. Though the led bar still looks darker.

Ive had a couple of just complete computer freezing necessitating a reboot since getting my pc back from overclockers with a 1080ti in it (asus).
Is this likely to be GPU or CPU related? Was working fine with the 1080 in it.

Ordered a FTW3 Elite in Black. Shame I had to go direct to get the Black version, but you gotta do what you gotta do right. Probably be a few weeks before I get it though
