When you say 50% gain you must be talking about the price as that the only thing guaranteed to increase.:D

As to the performance it is probably best to wait and see.:)

Nope. From Nvidia roaadmap graphs its meant to be a massive leap. So long as it does dx12 properly it will be a monster.

Price starts at £800 for the 2080 though :P
 
Yeah. 1080ti and/or pascal refreshes are just playing around and maybe 5% to 20% gains max.

Volta is meant to be the beast and expecting to offer a 50% gain.

50% gain from what? Maxwell?
In that case, i can see that.
To Pascal? Hmmm, with no competition i dont think it'll be that big of a jump
 
From the roadmap graphs Volta is double the DP and Single precision of pascal. I have no idea how that equates to game performance though????

single precision relates to gaming right?

Problem with graphs is you can use them to show anything.

Best to wait and see what the performance is.
