The idle temperature was only 37℃, with a fan speed of 44%.
The full-load temperature was around 94℃, with a fan speed of 92%. The noise increased a little, but was still acceptable.
Runs a bit too hot for my liking.

I wonder if a farm of GTX580's running at 100% will be cheaper than running the heating?

Let's hope it isn't just a high binned GF100 then...

Looks like it is a fixed GF100, without any architectural changes other than bug fixes. That's a bit disappointing as there was allot of hope it would be an up-scaled GF104.
Still if they fixed the power consumption issue it looks like it might be a very good card in indeed.
The good news is, it's due to be released shortly (At-least paper launch) so we should at least be able to see some reviews.
