Hi there

Well I've being promising something in the last few days, due to the mining craze and now because Russian and Chinese governments are now backing this craze, it means all stocks of 1080 and below and all the AMD series has being totally wiped of the face of the planet.

So I've being working closely with NVIDIA (AMD as well, but there treats coming later) to sort something so gamers can still get cards easily and at the regular prices and not the insanely inflated prices cards are currently being sold out in an attempt to slow demand, and yes of course to make more profit.

As such now all 1060 and 1070 are a maximum of 2 per customer and certain SKU's have discount codes with no FREE shipping, basis being to prevent miners from buying.

So as you can see a 6G 1060 at £240 inc, 1070 at £419.99 and 1080 at £499 for premium brands is prices back to where they normally sit. Unfortunately the lesser brands were the brands that first got hit by miners before anyone had time to react and were completely cleared out and over-sold in their thousands.

Those wanting AMD deals, we are working on putting RX 580's and RX 570's to one side, we've got several thousand in next week but they are all pre-sold, but we are going to move some to one side and make them available to gamers only, focusing on Sapphire and Asus. :)

Its not the best situation, but trying to find smart ways around keeping product available for the genuine gamer who just wants to game and get a decent card at a good price.

gibbo, how does 'mini' size compare to full size ones? slower?

No its same performance, I picked it because it is our top selling 1060 and its the one I've got a few hundred left on, we also build with this SKU, its a good card. 1050/1060 should always focus on best price for performance SKU which this delivers.

I know I sell stuff like 1060 Strix, but offer hardly any more performance but are over £50 more and that is before mining, now over £100 more.

Only 3G 1060 are cut down, less cores compared to 6G part. But all our 1060 6G are full fat, including the Mini/ITX versions, so same performance as the bigger looking cards. :)

Would be lovely to get a offer on some 1050Ti's tomorrow for ThisWeekOnly! :)

1050Ti and below is pre-discounted for your convenience, we are already selling them at less than 5% margin, as miners tend to ignore those and as such I am being very aggressive with pretty much all of them at sub 5% margin, after cc/paypal merchant fee's we pretty much break even, so no room for extra discount sorry.

Hi there

I am clearing out a 1080, had them in stock for months, NVIDIA are £519 but out of stock, I am dropping these to the lowest price ever for an FE card in the UK:

OcUK GeForce GTX 1080 "Founders Edition" 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £488.99 inc VAT https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-21d-ok.html

Core Clock: 1607MHz, Boost Clock: 1733MHz, Memory: 8192MB 10000MHz GDDR5X, Stream Processors: 2560, SLI Ready, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 2 Years Warranty.

Only £488.99 inc VAT.

The price will go live around 14:00 - 16:00 this afternoon, it is limited to two per customer, but we do expect miners to attempt to buy them so were giving you a heads up about the incoming price drop. So anyone who wants a 1080 FE card which are superb or have plans to go water on 1080 or want another for SLI a great deal is incoming on the FE product which is built to NVIDIA standards so very good quality. I just want these gone by end of month so am dumping them as we shall be phasing out the FE card range simply due to NVIDIA selling them and there is no money in it for us and these at this price is losing us quite a lot of money.

Other sites had the aorus at 679, the xtreme at over 700. I failed to convince myself to buy the kfa2 at £629 yesterday....

should have grabbed one, our price is back up now, won't be that cheap again, our cost has increased by nearly $50 due to memory shortage and even worse KFA2 cannot ship any more until August. Crazy times!

Hi Gibbo,

Thanks for all the great work you do around the forums. I was very appreciative of this thread as I'm building a computer for myself and for my son. It's been very difficult to get decent GPUs at a reasonable price because of all of the miners.

I selected a 1060 mini for my rig and was planning on getting the 1070 G1 for my son. I got paid this morning so placed my order for the 1060 and then went to place my order for the 1070 (separate orders since it's a code for each). But unfortunately the payment process seemed to fail for the 1070. I thought no problem and went to place the order again. However I was greeted by a "This voucher has been redeemed during a previous order." message."

As I really can't afford it at full price I waited some time and tried again but the message persisted and I submitted a webnote but the support member I reached didn't understand the issue and simply said: "I can confirm that this order is just a pending quote with no payment applied, So there is no need to cancel the order, it will just auto remove in time from your account have a great day."

Obviously this is no help in solving my problem. To add to this I now see that the G1 1070 is out of stock for at least a week. I was wondering if you could help me out with this very disappointing situation. My son and I were looking forward to assembling our rigs next weekend. Any chance on a similar discount on a mid range 1070 you have in stock?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Email [email protected] and I shall get my sales manager to call you and sell you an Asus Dual 1070 at £409.99 inc. VAT whilst we still got some left, they are currently £469.99 online and set at £500 for those buying in bulk. I can only allow 1 unit at this price!

So I have noticed the listed price on the site has dropped on these cards by around £30 in some cases, does this affect the deal price as it was originally set for a more expensive card. I only ask as i'm waiting for a card to hit my budget limit and their just not quite there yet.
Sorry for sounding like a cheapskate but I don't get to upgrade often so need to make sure I get the best I can for the price.

This codes are still valid, so try them.

These deals still didn't seem that good to me even with the codes, getting the 1070's with a coupon for £428.99 still seems stupidly expensive and overpriced for what it is. Especially when you can get a 1080 for £450.

A more reasonable price would be dropping it another £100 to £328.99 and selling it at its RRP.

Were not here to lose money thank you. Even mining aside, our cost have increased on said products due to memory price increases, but then yes unfortunately mining is also increasing cost for both ourselves, which is then passed on. Of course we have being able to also make additional margin on certain products, but the codes we have active bring our margins to single digits to make those prices happen, I really wish we were making like 50% plus margins on such products, so we could easily smash £100 off the price, unfortunately that is not the case.

Tomorrow we will put a 1070 on THIS WEEK ONLY for £399 for a basic one, no idea if the miners will sweep in and buy them all, chance we take.
