Will this card work on a 4K monitor and give me a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution just for viewing ?

yeah it does allow 4K. unfortunately only at 30fps.

Thanks , not going to be used for gaming even the laptop has been maxed out ect , long as i used and get 3840 x 2160 and play 4K movies
