Hey guys.

I can get the above card at a really good price. I just sold my X1950Pro 256MB AGP as I got shot of my AMD 754 system. So I have two questions in mind now:

1. Is the above card I want to buy any good?
2. Will it beat my X1950Pro AGP?

New rig:

E4400 @ 2,9Ghz
2 x 1GB DDR 2 667 Memory
2 x 250GB SATA Hard Drive space (Still trying to see if I can RAID These)
1 x 160Gb SATA Hard Drive.

Old system was a AMD 754 3400+ and 2GB DDR 400 memory.

So, will this card play my games? Like STALKER ect?

That gts is also an oc version which comes with 580 on the core and 1.8ghz memory clock which is a good bit faster than the standard version so it will get more fps than what you see on that chart.

I will be running it on a Samsung 932BF 19" LCD. Will it be able to play most games okay?

You could ring ocuk and ask about their bfg deal and if it will still be just as good in SA.

OCUK have a deal with BFG to get fast rma's (46 hours i beleive) and good service otherwize BFG get an ear full from ocuk for not upholding their deal. They had the same with XFX but they couldn't do it. They then wanted a simple deal with XFX not even the 48 hour and XFX couldn't accept and therefore ocuk will not sell their cards untill they do.
 
I've had four XFX cards. Two 7800s and two 7900s. Only one lives on today in my mates old machine.

I only managed to RMA one of the broken 3, got a 7950GT 512 to replace it with. Only took about 5 months to get it. Came through the other day so I've sold it.

Never ever touching XFX again with a very long pole. That's my personal experience, hope your's goes better if you decide to get it.
 
No I mean't I'd have to save until then, as this 800GTS is a lot lower then retail price. I've just found out I can return it to AXIS, who is a Big SA supplier, so won't have to go to XFX. I also get a three year warranty with the card....
 
Can't do that as these cards don't go for much more then what I am paying for it, second hand. I will have three year warranty, so am not fussed. Also AXIZ swop out the card the same day. They are just down the road from me..
