NVIDIA GIMPING DRIVERS ALREADY?

and this can be verified how

Nothing can be verified unless you were there for the testing. I think it was Hardware Unboxed that done a video and plenty of games were seeing a down turn in performance with the newer drivers. His testing was on a 1080ti, at 4k 2 games saw a drop of 15% and 3 others around 8%. Some others were around 4%. No game at 4k saw an improvement in performance. This streamer used pretty similar games and is also seeing drops on a different system and card.

This guys video was only around a week ago on the same system. I assume the windows version will be the same so the cpu should be affected on both sets of drivers. Same with the Hardware unboxed video i was on about which was around a month or so ago. With these video's it was like for like.

With his upload date being the 12th there could be a chance that he did the old drivers before the patch and the newer drivers after the patch. Thew hardware unboxed video was before the new update and showed similar losses though.

Hardware Unboxed found absolutely no change. Everything was within margin of error (~1-2fps). https://youtu.be/lY7_ujxbdNY?t=693

EDIT: He even gives the reason why it hasn't happened, nor will ever happen. It's just too easy to test and prove.

No he didn't. Watch the video?

First one Pre-baked MLL at 4k was a 4% difference, For Honour 4k was a 15% hit, The division 4k was 15% difference, Hitman 4k was 6%, ROTTR 4k was 9%, SOTTR 4k was 8%, Deus Ex 4k was 3%. These were all the canned benchmarks which the majority of reviewers use to save time. On not one occasion was the new driver faster and there are some big differences in there. As i said the in game tests showed varying results but they were also just one run through and pretty random in some cases.

I am not saying it's 100% proof of gimping but why in not one canned game bench is the new driver faster and way slower in half of them.

That's what i said at the time of the video. Now go through that video and tell me i am wrong.

I watched the video before posting. He doesn't show the results for most of games cause there is nothing to show. Are you talking about Hardware Unboxed? The Aussie who likes the colour blue and tidy facial hair?

We are actually talking about a different video all together and different drivers as well :D:D:D:D:D

I thought it was Hardware unboxed but it was not so sorry about that. This is the video, his was done before the new windows update. Any how i think CAT is on to something with the new windows update effecting peoples performance as off late.

Any how this is the original thread where a user here seen a down turn in his performance after the 20 series launch.
