I have a freind who lives in the US and is currently upgrading his video card
He currently is ruinning a 8600GT and has decided to go with the 220GT
would i right and saying its not much of an upgrade.

i was trying to get him to for something like a 4670 or a 5450

I thought as much
however as the company he is buying his card from dont have stock of the card he ordered i think ive managed to convince him to purchase an HIS Radeon HD4670 1GB instead.

He has cancelled the original order and is waiting for his refund and going to order a 4830 we found on another site which is cheaper than the current card he was buying and has cheaper shipping to boot.
