with 470's at £270 you would have to be a madman to buy one of these....

surely the choice is nvidia 470 or ati 5850 / 70

480 if u want the best single GPU and can afford it....

Indeed, these need to hit sub £200 to be even close to being value for money...

I mean, I like Nvidia, i will normally always buy nvidia, was at a LAN this weekend though and someone wanted to upgrade thier 8800GT.. Also nvidia fanboy, circa £120 budget and you have to say 5770, if you have a £160 budget you would have to say 5830 and if you have circa £200 you would have to say try and find a cheap 5850.....

Hate to say it but unless you are rich and love nvidia their cards are not making a whole lot of sense at the moment....

PS he went for the 5770 and was well happy!

Seems one advantage of these is you can run 3 monitors without one being a display port jobbie.

Seems one advantage of these is you can run 3 monitors without one being a display port jobbie.

The downside is that you need a second card to run in SLI. I'd rather spend £80 on an active adaptor than another £250/£300/£400 on another card.
