Nvidia GTX 590 Size

Hi I am trying to find out the measurements for the Nvidia 590, what i need to find out is it the same width as a 580

It looks like it in videos, reason i want to no is i was going to put 2 580s in my case and have discovered that there no room with them being wide

And if the 590s are the same width or thinner not fatter then id be able to keep my soundcard in my pci slot directly under this card thats if the fans airflow dont get affected that is we it being in middle on this card

Ideally someone who has got one could answer this for me

so you mean how many slots do they take up? They are dual slot, but running them with another card right next to it hugely restricts airflow and will result in toasty temps :/

am thinkin that would be cause the fan is in middle as at noment i have 580 we soundcard underneath perfectly fine temp

then you should be fine. reviews of them in SLI point it out though, but it was certainly possible to do it with two right next to each other, just temps were getting pretty high. 6990's in the OC mode hit 99C easily though and had to be wedged apart in order to not crash lol.

I'd get a single 580 and overclock it if I was you, you'l probably get VERY close to 590 performance as the 580 won't downclock when stressed.
