Nvidia GTX 780 temperature

Hi

I just bought one of the 'Ultima Extreme Envy' rigs which comes with the nvidia gtx 780:

On Crysis 3, the gpu is running at around 80 degrees and CPU around 50. Are these temps OK?

Seems pretty normal. You can always run MSI Afterburner (assuming you arn't already) and set a more aggressive fan speed to keep the temps below 80 degrees at the expense of some noise.

My 780 runs at between 7- and 80 degrees depending on the game. At 80 degrees it will reduce the boost clock by 1 bin to help keep temps in check but other than that it is fine.

The 780 has a pre selected heat max of 80c so any games that push it the temps will always hit 80c.

I play iracings and with the gfx maxed and fps unlocked it runs 300 plus fps which drives the temps right upto 80c but with fps locked to 120 fps temp is 73c so have ordered a water block from OCUK for mine yesterday.
