It's all safe. Don't think they go above 1.25v

I've skimmed through the whole thread and I cant find ananswer to this.... does the EVGA 980 SC ACX 2.0 come with a back plate as standard?
I hear if you register card on evga's web site you get a free backplate. Check there eu site.
Now just hide them spare connectors perfection!.
How many hours did you put into a project like that do you know?.

Err hard to say really maybe 18 hours altogether - I really can't remember. It was my first time bending the tube so I messed up a few times and I had to get a little creative with the fan cables as its running 14x 120mm
But generally I'm very pleased with the case as I was fed up of not seeing my GPU blocks so the S8 is perfect for showing them off.
The only downside to the case is the HDD placement as i've placed them all under the motherboard and to access them you have to take the motherboard out with this configuration i'm running (3x 360mm Rads).
Phew! Took me oh, around 5 seconds to find this!
Oh, and the answer is a big fat no, as the video will reveal a couple of minutes in
Thanks Kelt, but I had already seen the video, problem is I think that the American versions differ from the EU versions so its maybe not definitive.
I was hoping to get a EU/UK based owner to confirm 1 way or another.
Neil
There's a review I just read where the guy states that "after severe stock shortages in the UK", so fair to assume it's a UK model, he down points the card for not having a backplate.
I think it's a given it doesn't come with a backplate.
Also if you look at the photos on the EVGA EU website, there is no indication of one being present, when you look at the side-on shots.
Does anybody know if a 600w bequiet psu would be enough for a Galax SOC 980?
