NVIDIA in the doc..!!

nice price they're having to pay for that, should be able to afford it but it would take cash away from research and development possibly. doesnt say which chips are affected.


edit: from what i've just found on google it's the 8700/8800/9600/9800 series chips

Um, guys, NVidia isn't going to go under because of one lawsuit that hasn't even gone to court yet.

Funny how people constantly predict the doom of these massive companies, it'd take an absolutely MASSIVE loss to truly put them out of business.
 
Good news.

It's a serious flaw and unlike Intel they should have owned up months ago. I have Dell 3 laptops with potentially faulty GPU's. So far I have been given a BIOS fix from Dell that speeds up the fan to delay failure. Bios Fix, lol. :mad:
