ChangeLog:

Version 1.9.1:

- starting THIS english changelog :)
- added WHQL detection to driver version display
- removed the (almost wrong) memory clock display on non-dedicated gpus
- improved safety while clock/voltage change (increasing shaderclock will apply voltage before clockchange, decrease will apply voltage after)
- profile settings scanner got its own thread to avoid hanging app while scanning
- fixed bug where two instances running when elevation was requested
- added default value display for overclocking sections on driver version 258+
- added some anisotrophic filter level values to the profile setings editor
- skip loading voltage table if voltage control is not available ( may fix kernel panic on some cards )

Doesn't seem to be any way to overclock the GPU core so not really viable as an overclocking tool atm.

Yeah you clock by pushing the shader clock up as it is now linked with the core clock, MSI afterburner just reverses this so you can push the core up instead of the shader but both do the exact same job to overclock the card.

Oh right, just me being a noob with nVidia cards then :D

Been using 1.90 for a while, but only to make sure I had all the shaders I was supposed to have! (Current GPU-Z 0.44 has a bug with the 460)

Still use Afterburner for clocking and monitoring, I like to see the graphs!

Just got my 470 to 775/1800 at 1.05v with this tool. FurMark with all the bells and whistles reached a stable 98c at which point the fan is quite loud. Definitely going to look into a third party cooler at some point. Fan under 75% is pretty quiet though.

Got 597 in unigine 2.1 with everything maxed on stock speeds. Going to run it again with the overclock and see what I get.

This is windows 7, E6300 @ 3.15, 4GB DDR2 900mhz RAM so it might well be limited by the CPU/RAM.

Woah, what a difference!

Unigine 2.1 at stock settings:
FPS: 23.7
Scores: 597
Min FPS: 3.1
Max FPS: 52.1

At 775/1800:
FPS: 29.0
Scores: 730
Min FPS: 12.1
Max FPS: 64.7

Look at the min fps difference! Couldn't be happier :)

The fan didn't even spin up that loud during the benchmark.

been using it for a while now, it's the best way to manage game profiles using 256+ drivers, until nhancer updates to 3.0 anyway which is gonna be quite some time

Will try this later.

I just installed a Gelid Icy Vision cooler last night. Not done a full test yet but a quick Kombuster at 750mhz gave me 77c after 7 mins or so, and its SO much quieter. Gonna crank it up to 800mhz, was doable before but fan was too loud, now it should be fine.

Was it easy to fit ?

The instructions are poor tbh. I googled a guide for taking the 480 apart, then used a review of the gelid to help with the installation.

Putting the thermal pads on the ram chips then the VRM sinks took ages as there's so many. All in all it took about 3½ hours i reckon :S looks like it'll have been worth it though.

I'll do a thread on it once i've done some tests

Been using this for a while as I found rivatuner somewhat confusing, this offers the easiest overclocking. You cant go wrong with dragging a slider and clicking apply

I'd heard bad things about the gelid cooler not sitting flat on the core. Did you have any issues with the offset pieces on the screws being too big?
