NVidia: Kepler will be "Unbeatable"

This 'info' was already posted in the mammoth Kepler thread in this forum.

Personally nVidia Italy might as well be some random on the internet.

i checked as far back as the 28th Feb on that thread and couldn't see it had been posted, as this article only went up yesterday i assumed no one had posted it on OCUK yet

the original comment was made on 28th feb, the earliest english translation I can find anywhere is 1st March, and certainly not on this forum

so basically you are suggesting that any news anyone finds that is more than few hours old shouldn't be posted on the forum and just assume everyone has read it already?
 
nVidia Italy is listed as an "official" link from the nvidia website. Only thing is, it is a "fan" page, which in real life means fairy dust. Meanwhile in Nvidia Russia [REDACTED]

Unfortunately for Nvidia, yields of chips made using 28nm process technology at TSMC, including Kepler, are lower than the company originally anticipated and therefore their costs are high and Nvidia's chief executive recently complained that the company cannot get enough wafers.

Better start saving lads.

*Please note. Nvidia Kepler cards are unbeatable in Physx as Radeons do not use the technology. Also, results may vary from PC to PC. Nvidia Kepler cards could also be unbeatable at folding, given that Radeons can't even fold a piece of paper. Caution - may cause irreversible damage to the kidneys and liver.
 
Unbeatable? In performance I assume? But how about in price and power efficiency? How about in price/fps ratio?

Not trolling but just point out that "unbeatable" can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. And while your average e-peen fanboy will bleat for joy at a graph that shows one bar greater than another, the majority of consumers will be looking carefully at that figure next to the £ sign and making a purchasing decision based on that.

For how far behind Kepler is, AMD could just as easy come out and say Patience, patience, wait for HD 89XX it's unbeatable.

Launching months later it should be more powerful :p

I think Nvidia is bit scared of the HD 7870 launch tbh. Nvidia seem to release a new 'rumour' or claim of greatness for each card AMD launch :rolleyes:
