The problem is that what was once a fairly easy and sorta free feature for monitor manufacturers to implement now has a higher cost added to it(assumed). Don't expect that gsync compatible sticker to be free and the cost is thrown to the consumer.

it all depends on if nvidia charges for validation. If they don't then sure, it shouldn't increase the prices but!.. it is nvidia after all. If there is money to be had they won't leave it on the table. Gotta give them (nvidia) props for being able to turn even the competitions ideas and tech into a money source for themselves.
