I'm just a little confused about the upcoming nvidia launch, are they launching a single card? or a range? and what price bracket are they looking to fill?

You mean nov 17th? that the 240 guess it will replace the 9800gt.

Fermi will be there new series of cards but they won't be launching till 2010.

argh I know that.

But I've read nothing on what they are launching other than various babble about how fermi>5XXX and why they think that is.

I've seen nothing on what cards they plan to release, what area of the market or what price bracket we're looking at.

Have any answers to these?

That's because it will depend on yields and upon what nVidia thinks that ATi will have on the market at the time. At the end of the day we're simply going to have to wait for more information (or leaks) from nVidia, though my understanding is that they'll have a full range or cards and not just the top end.

My general understanding, was, that the top end Fermi based card, would be out the end of this year (unlikely now)/early next year, with the mid range cards coming in March.

I highly doubt the whole range of cards will be pushed back to March. They will try and get the top end (say GTX385) out early Q1 2010, with the mid range cards appearing in March.
